Terms of use
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Sixe (“Sixe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the Sixe mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for people aged 16 and older. If you are 16 or 17, or otherwise below the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian, to the extent permitted by law.
2. A wellness tool, not medical care
Sixe is a general wellness and fat-loss companion for recording meals, activity, hydration, weight, and goals. It is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical nutrition, or emergency services. AI-generated estimates and suggestions can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for you. Always use professional judgment and consult a qualified clinician before changing diet, exercise, medication, or treatment—especially if you are pregnant, managing a condition, taking medication, or have a history of disordered eating. Never use the Service for an emergency.
3. Your account and device
Access may be associated with a device identifier rather than a traditional account. You are responsible for your device, the confidentiality of access to it, and all activity from it. Do not misrepresent your identity, evade safeguards, or allow use that violates these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain rights in text, photos, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You grant Sixe a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, transmit, reproduce, and process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service and to provide requested AI features. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to break the law; upload malware or unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful material; attempt to obtain another person’s data; interfere with or probe the Service; circumvent rate limits or security controls; scrape or resell the Service; generate content that facilitates harm; or use automated means except as expressly permitted by us. We may remove content, restrict access, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to protect people or the Service.
6. AI and third-party services
Requested content may be processed by third-party service providers. AI output is probabilistic, may reflect errors, and is not guaranteed to be original, accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it. Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy policies; Sixe is not responsible for their independent acts or availability.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
The Service, including its software, design, names, and content supplied by Sixe, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable law. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use it while these Terms permit. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including limits and features, at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. We may update these Terms; the revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
9. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Sixe disclaims warranties of accuracy, fitness, merchantability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sixe and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or health outcomes. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding twelve months or 100 USD. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sixe and its officers, workers, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your User Content, misuse of the Service, or violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
11. Termination and general terms
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, legal reasons, or operational necessity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms and mandatory laws applicable to you govern the Service; disputes may be brought before a court with proper jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights.
