Privacy policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Sixe (“Sixe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Sixe mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”). It is intended to be read with our Terms of Use. It does not replace rights you may have under the law where you live.
2. Information you provide
You may provide a device identifier, profile details, goals, meals, nutrition notes, activity, hydration, weight, progress, typed prompts, support messages, and photos or images you choose to submit. Much of your wellness history is stored locally on your device. Please do not submit passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical records, or another person’s information unless you have a lawful reason and permission.
3. Information collected automatically
When the Service makes a request, we may receive a pseudonymous device identifier, IP address, timestamps, request size, error and performance details, and basic browser or device information. If analytics is enabled, we also receive product-interaction events such as onboarding steps, meal logging, workouts, hydration, weight logging, and subscription actions, together with limited details needed to understand feature use. We use this information to deliver requests, enforce per-device and network usage limits, prevent abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, and measure reliability.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize requested features; transmit prompts and images for processing; respond to support; protect the Service and users; comply with law; and improve reliability and quality. Optional product analytics are processed with consent where required, and you can enable or disable them under Share Analytics in the app’s Settings. We otherwise rely on contract, legitimate interests, or another lawful basis where permitted. We do not use your wellness content for unrelated advertising.
5. When we share information
We use Cloudflare for hosting and request delivery, Google Gemini for requested AI processing, PostHog for optional product analytics, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Upstash for rate limiting and operational safeguards. We require providers acting for us to process information only for the agreed service, apply appropriate confidentiality and security protections, and comply with applicable data-protection requirements. Their own privacy notices may also describe their processing. We may also disclose information to professional advisers and authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety, or to a successor in a merger, financing, or sale. We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
Information kept in the app remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. The request service is designed not to intentionally retain uploaded images after processing, although limited operational logs may be retained for security, rate limiting, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and backup cycles. Analytics events are retained only as long as reasonably needed to understand product use and maintain the Service, subject to provider controls and applicable law. Retention periods depend on the purpose and applicable law. You can disable future analytics in Settings, delete local data, or stop using the Service at any time.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks involved. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information has been misused, contact us promptly.
8. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use an appropriate legal mechanism for international transfers and apply protections required by applicable law.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Send a request to nishantup2005@gmail.com. We may verify your identity, ask for details needed to locate the request, and respond within the period required by law. You may also have the right to appeal a refusal where applicable.
10. Children
The Service is intended for people aged 16 and older. Users aged 16 or 17, or otherwise below the age of majority where they live, may use it only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update its effective date. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact nishantup2005@gmail.com.
